26 Nov 2024
The Mahatma Panchasakhas composed the Bhavishya Malika under the instructions of Lord Niraakar. This scripture primarily describes the signs of social, physical, and geographical changes that will occur at the end of Kaliyuga. Many predictions were made 600 years ago and have come true.

The Kaliyuga has already ended, and this period is the transition phase before Satya Yuga. Many signs are discussed in Bhavishya Malika, which will prove the end of Kaliyuga and the arrival of Kalki Avatar. In this article, we will discuss different signs and references to the end of Kaliyuga and how it relates to Bhavishya Malika. After reading this, you will understand whether Kaliyuga has ended or not.

Reference to the King of Puri in Bhavishya Malika

The King of Puri, also known as the Gajapati Maharaja of Puri, is the traditional ruler and chief servant of Lord Jagannath, and he plays a crucial role in the religious and cultural affairs of the Jagannath Temple in Odisha.

First Reference

Divya Singh anke babu sarb dekhibu,
chhadi chhaka galuu boli nischay janibu
nar balut rupare aamkhe janmibu।
Gupt Gyan - Achyutananda Das ji

In this, Achyutananda described the first servant of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath and Thakur Raja (the fourth Divya Singh Dev) of Sanatan Dharma in the above verse. Mahapurush also mentioned that, according to the tradition of King Indradyumna in the region of Jagannath, different kings were in charge of the area at other times. When the fourth Divya Singh Dev takes charge, 5,000 years of Kaliyuga will have passed.

From this, Mahapurush Achyutananda proved two things: on the one hand, the fourth Divya Singh Dev will take charge as the king, and on the other hand, 5,000 years of Kaliyuga will already have passed. (Currently, the 5,125th year of Kaliyuga is ongoing.)

Mahatma Achyutananda wrote in the series that when the fourth Divya Singh Dev is in power (as is the case today), it will signify proof of the end of Kaliyuga. Furthermore, the great Achyutanandaji explained in the above lines that when the fourth Divya Singh Dev rules in Srikshetra, Lord Jagannath will take the form of Kalki Avatar, assume a human body, and work towards establishing dharma.

Jaggnnath temple in Odisha

The great man Achyutananda Ji has clearly said that during the fourth Divya Singh Dev, Kali Yuga will be completed at its age, and Lord Jagannath will have to take birth as a child in the form of Kalki Avatar. Achyutananda Ji explained in his book 'Ashta Gujri'-
Purva Bhanu Aba Pashchimen Jib Achyut Bachan Aan Nohib।
Parvat Shikhare Phutib Kain Achyut Bachan Mithya Nuhai।
Thu L Sunyaku Mu Karin Aas Thike Bhanile Shri Achyut Das।
- Achyutananda Das ji -(Bhavishya Malika)
That is, by declaring the sanctity and truth of the Bhavishya Malika , Achyutanandaji enlivens the devotion and faith in the minds of the devotees by saying that the sun may rise in the west and the lotus may bloom on the top of the mountain, but the words I wrote will never be proven wrong.

Second Reference

Divya Keshari Raja Hoib Tebe Kaliyuga Sarib।
Chaturtha Divya Singh Thiba Se Kaale Kaliyuga Thiba।
- Achyutananda Das ji -(Bhavishya Malika)
That is, Mahapurush Achyutananda has written in the above line that when the fourth Divya Singh Dev Raja will be there in Shri Kshetra, then Satyayug will start even before the end of Kaliyuga , but there will be no effect of Satyayug . Once again another Panchasakha Mahatma Jagannath Dasji, who was incarnated from the laughter of Maa Radharani, also declared in Vajra Kantha-

Third Reference

Purushottam Deb Rajank Tharu Unbeens Raja Hebe Setharu
Unbeens Raja Pare Raja Nanhi Aau Akuli Hoibe Kulku Bohu।

In the above lines, Mahapurush Shri Jagannath Dasji has written that the first king of this Jagannath area will be Shri Purushottam Dev. 19 kings, including Shri Purushottamdev, will be responsible for the governance of the temple. At present, the words of Malika are coming true, and Shri Divya Singh Dev is discharging the responsibility as the 19th king.

Also, Mahapurush Jagannath Das wrote that the 19th king, Shri Divya Singh Dev, would not have any son. By believing in the words of Malika, today, the devotees of the Lord are getting proof. After 600 years of what the great men wrote, their words have become a reality. Therefore, it should be understood that Kaliyuga has ended, and establishing religion is ongoing.

Signs from Jagannath Temple Indicating the End of Kaliyuga

After 5,000 years of Kaliyuga, Panchasakhas told to remove the doubts from the minds of the devotees that as per the will of the Lord, various signs will appear from the Nilachal region of Shri Jagannathji through which the devotees will get to know entirely about the end of Kaliyuga and the incarnation of Lord Kalki.

Falling of Stones in Jagannath Temple

Chulru Pathar Jebe Khasib Soot
Khasile Anla Bedha Ru Heb E Kali Hat।
Achyutananda Das ji -(Bhavishya Malika)

Mahapurush Achyutananda Dasji wrote to inform the devotees that a stone falling from the main temple of Sri Jagannath Dham would signal the end of Kaliyuga. These words have since been proven true.

On 16.06.1990, a stone fell from the Amla Bedha of the Sri Mandir, and the Union Budget Department formed a committee to investigate the incident. However, to this day, scientists have been unable to determine where and how such a massive stone (weighing over 1 ton) fell.

This has been a surprising event for scientists. The words of all the Mahatmas and sages have been proven true, and the falling of the stone from Amla Bedha has already provided proof of the end of Kaliyuga, warning the devotees.

Falling of Lime Coating in Jagannath Temple

Mahapurush Achyutananda has mentioned in his Bhavishya Malika book, in the 'Garuda Samvad,' that one day, the Lord's chief devotee, Vinitanandan Garuda, asked Mahaprabhu, 'Lord, you have incarnated in all four yugas, and at the end of Kaliyuga, you will take the Kalki Avatar. At that time, you will have a union of devotees from all four yugas.

When you leave Neelachal and, from Daru-Brahma, become Saakar Brahma, what signs will the devotees see from Vaikuntha that will convince them the time for your Kalki Avatar has arrived so that they may follow the Malika and receive your blessings?

Mahapurusha Achyutananda has written in Bhavishya Malika-

Bad deul ku aapne jebe tejya karibe
Ki ki sanket dekhile mane pratyē hoibe।
- Achyutananda Das ji -(Bhavishya Malika)

The meaning of the above lines is that when the Lord leaves Neelachal, the devotees will get a sign and believe it only after seeing it.

 Then Lord Shri Krishna said-

Garud mukhku chāhiṇ kahuchanti Achyut,
Kshetra re rahibe Anant Bimala Loknath।

In these lines, the Lord tells Garuda, 'When I leave Neelachal, my elder brother Balarama will take charge of the Neelachal region and become the Ruler of the Territory of Neelachal. Mother Vimala and Loknath Mahaprabhu will remain in that region, but I will take birth in human form.'

Garuda then asked, 'What will be the first sign so that the devotees can read the Bhavishya Malika and understand that you have left Neelachal?

Again, Achyutananda has described -

Deul ru chun chadib, chakra bakra hoib
Mahalīā hoib Bhārata anka kaṭāu thib।

When the lime coating on the main temple of Shri Jagannathji begins to fall off (i.e., the lime starts peeling away), the Neel Chakra atop the Shri Jagannath temple will become slightly crooked. At that time, India's economic condition will not be favourable.

When the lime coating on the Jagannath temple fell off, the Prime Minister was Chandrashekhar, who mortgaged 3,000 tons of gold to address India's monetary shortage. India improved its economic condition by implementing a defensive economy. The above line from the Bhavishya Malika proves that the predictions made by the great Achyutanandaji 600 years ago have been fulfilled.

Vulture Sitting on Arun Pillar of Temple

Mahaprabhu Shri Krishna tells about the second sign-

Bad deul ru pathar jebe khasib pun
Gridhra pakshi je basib arun r stambhena ।

These lines mean that when the stone falls from Amla Bedha, then a hawk or a vulture will sit on the Arun (Sun's son Arun) pillar. This was proved accurate, and when the stone fell from Amla Bedha, the vulture sat on the Arun pillar.

According to our classical tradition, if a vulture sits in a house, it is a sign of impending trouble for the people living there. Similarly, seeing a vulture sitting on the Arun pillar of Sri Jagannath temple is a sign of a big problem for the world's people. This is considered the first sign of the end of Kaliyuga and the establishment of religion.

Then the great man Achyutananda told the great devotee Garudaji-

Bad deul ru pathar jebe khasib pun
Gridhra pakshi je basib arun r stambhena।
- Kaliyuga Geeta - Achyutananda Das ji
That is, Garudaji asks, 'Lord when you incarnate on earth in the form of Kalki Avatar, where will I be able to meet you, how will I get your darshan and dedicate myself to your service?' Mahaprabhu replied, 'O Garuda, I will meet you where there is the auspicious pillar of Brahma, which is considered to be the Sun pillar of the Earth and which is called the center of the Earth.' Mahapurush Achyutananda ji has mentioned in 'Hari Arjun Chautisa' about the end of Kali Yuga , the birth of Lord Kalki, and other signs found in the Srimandir.

Umbrella on the Throne Catching Fire and Bending of Neelchakra

Neelachal chhaadi aambhe jibu jetebele
Laagiba ratna chaandua agni sete bele
Nisha kaale mandirru chori heb hele
Bad deulumohar khasib pathar
Basib je gridhra pakshi arun stambhara।
Bataas re bakra heb neelachakra mor।
- Kaliyug Geeta - Achyutananda Das ji

In the above lines, the great man Achyutananda Ji has clarified that 'When I leave Neelachal, the jewelled umbrella on top of my jewelled throne will catch fire, there will be theft in the premises of my Shri Mandir at midnight, and stones will fall from giants.

Due to the storm, the Neel Chakra will bend and become crooked. The vulture bird will sit on my Arun pillar.' All these things have happened in the Shri Jagannath area of the Shri Mandir and Malika's words have ultimately come true. This has given a sign of the end of Kaliyuga.

Treasury in Temple Losing its Wealth and Fame

Then in the second chapter of 'Kaliyuga Geeta', the great man Achyutananda Ji tells about a special sign from the area of Shri Jagannath.

Munhi neelachal chhaadi jibi ho Arjun
Mohar bhandaar ghare thiba jete dhan।
Taanhire kalanki lagi jiba kshay hoi
Mohar sevak maane baatare na thaai।
- Kaliyuga Geeta - Achyutananda Das ji

In the above lines, Arjuna asks Lord Krishna, 'When you leave Neelachal, what signs will be visible from Srikshetra? Please tell me about them.' Lord Krishna answers, 'Arjuna when I leave Neelachal, the Bhandaar Ghar (treasure) situated within the premises of my temple will lose its fame. This means that the wealth in the treasury, i.e., the storehouse, will be destroyed, and the servants in charge of the treasury will fail to follow Dharma.

As Achyutanandaji describes in the second chapter of 'Kaliyuga Geeta'-

Bahut anyaay kari arjibi dhan
Taanhire taahank duḥkh nohib mochan।
Khaibaaku namiliba kichhi na antiba
Mohar baṛapandānkū ann na miliba।
Mohar baṛ deūlu khasib patthar
Shrīkṣetra rājan mor nasebi payar
Rājya jiba nānā duḥkh pāiba ṭī sei
Tānku mānya na kariba anya rājā kehi।

When I leave Neelachal, Kali Yuga will end. As soon as I leave Srikshetra, there will be a lot of injustice in my area. The councillors under me will earn money by doing various kinds of injustice, and in the coming times, my head servants will not be able to maintain themselves properly.' Many such changes will take place in the Sri Mandir.

Lightning Strike in the Temple's Kitchen

The great man Achyutananda has mentioned another sign from Jagannath Kshetra in Malika-

Pejanala phuṭī tor paḍiba bijulī
Se juge jibi ki prabhu neelanchal chhaḍi

When lightning strikes Jagannath's kitchen, Kaliyuga will end, and Shri Jagannath will leave Nilachal and take human form. Recently, lightning struck Jagannath's kitchen. From this, it can be assumed that Shri Jagannath ji has left Nilachal and taken human form.

Breaking of Branch of Kalpavat

Again, the great man Achyutanandaji describes another sign from the Jagannath area in his book 'Chaushthi Patal'. He gives evidence of the glory of Shri Kalpavat, the decay of Shri Kalpavat, the end of Kaliyuga and Lord Shri Jagannath leaving Nilachal and taking human form and says-

Se baṭ mulare Arjun jehu basib daṇḍe
Mṛtyu samaye na paḍiba yam rājar daṇḍe।
Se baṭ mohar bigrah janhu hele āghāt
Mote baṛā bādhā lāgāi suṇ maghbāsūt।
Se baṭ ru khaṇḍe bakal jehu deb chaṛāi
Mohar charm chaṛāilā pari jñānt huai।

Kalpavat inside the Sri Mandir is like the idol of God. Kalpavat is compared to the body of God. God's body suffers greatly if someone breaks even a tiny piece from Kalpavat. Today, the branch of Kalpavat is breaking again and again. According to the words of the great man, if the branch of Kalpavat breaks, then God has left Neelachal and has taken the body of a human being.

The great man Achyutananda has written on this subject that-

Kalpabaṭ ghāt heb jetebele
Neelachal chhaṛi jibe Madan Gopāle।
Kalpabaṭ śākhā chiṛi paḍiba se kāle
Nānā akarma mān heb kṣetrabare।
Rūdra ṭhāru unaviṁśa paryanta seṭhāre
Sthāpanā hoibe mor sevādī bhābare।
Baṛ deūlare munhi narahibi bīr
Bāhār hoibi dekhi nara atyācār।

Mahapurush Achyutanandaji has mentioned in the above lines that at the end of Kaliyuga, when the Kalpavriksha branch breaks, a lot of injustice, immorality, indiscipline, and anarchy will spread in my area.

At this time, Lord Shri Jagannath, seeing the atrocities of humans, will leave the temple and take a human body. The government will appoint new servants to take charge of the Srimandir between the ages of 11 to 19 years Lord Kalki. The words of the Malika have come true today.

Vulture Sitting on Neel Chakra and Burying of Mahaprasad

Again Mahatma Achyutananda describes that-

Baṛ deūlu mohar patthar khasib
Gridhra pakṣī nīl cakra upare basib।
Dine dine chalu re mu na hoibi dṛśya
Bhoga sabu potā heb jāna pāṇḍu śiṣya।
Samudra juār māḍi āsībā nikṭe
Rakṣyā nakaribe kehi prāṇīṅku saṅkaṭe।

The great man then described that when a vulture sits on the Neelchakra, stones will fall repeatedly from the temple of Shri Jagannath. At that time, Lord Jagannath will not appear in the offering of Mahaprasad. Many times, the Mahaprasad will be buried under the soil.

This can be guessed from the fact that according to the temple tradition of Shri Jagannathji, when Mahaprasad is offered to Lord Jagannath, then Shri Jagannath appears to the chief priest who provides the Mahaprasad. But according to the warning of the great man Achyutananda, when the vulture or eagle bird sits on the Neelchakra, at that time a stone will fall from the temple of the Lord, and Lord Jagannath will not appear in the method of offering Mahaprasad.

As a result, the Mahaprasad of Mahaprabhu will be buried in the soil. Then the great man Achyutananda mentioned as a warning that the sea will rise very high above the land at this time, and there will be a flood on the earth, which is visible today. Even after that, many big crises are going to come.

This all will happen at the end of Kaliyuga, and Therefore, being a kind-hearted saint, he warned the people of Kaliyuga that there should be a mental change in people; they should be utterly devoted to the Vaishnav religion and give up other vices, including eating non-vegetarian food.

The great man has again described in this context-

Śrī dhāmaru ek baṛa pāṣāṇa khasib
Dibasare ullūk tāra upare basib।
Mo bhubane ulkāpāt heb ghan ghan
Jeu sabu aṭe bābū amaṅgala cihna।
The great man said that a vast stone would fall from the main temple of Shri Jagannathji, and an owl would sit on the stone during the daytime. Both these signs have already happened in the temple. In the future, meteorites will fall repeatedly in Shri Jagannath Kshetra, as we know from many texts written by the great man.

Conclusion

The signs provided by Jagannath Culture and Bhavishya Malika regarding the end of Kaliyuga emphasize the transformative nature of this era and the spiritual actions necessary to navigate it.

Bhavishya Malika highlights the unparalleled importance of Trisandhya and 'Madhav' name chanting, stating it as the only way to achieve salvation during these times.

By recognizing these predictions and embracing Trisandhya and Madhav's name chanting, individuals can prepare spiritually, ensuring their path to liberation and a harmonious transition into Satyug.
