Satya Yuga will start when the Moon, Sun, and Jupiter enter the first part of Pushya Nakshatra and come to the same zodiac sign simultaneously. This astronomical event occurred on August 1, 1943. Hence, it is clear that the Satya Yuga era began on August 1, 1943.
Just like any construction takes a lot of time to build, it also takes some time to destroy. Similarly, this Kaliyuga took 5,000 years to make and may take 70-80 years to eliminate.
