Whether worshipping lord Ganesha is beneficial ?
According to Hindu religion, Lord Ganesha is the God of Wisdom. Shri Ganesha is the master of 14 Vidyas (forms of knowledge) and 64 Kalas (artistic and divine skills). A devotee who worships Him attains wisdom and knowledge. He is also known as the remover of obstacles in all endeavors.
In Hindu tradition, Lord Shri Ganesha is worshipped before the start of any auspicious work, with the belief that He removes all obstacles that may arise in the process.
Jñānināṁ agragaṇyaṁ taṁ jñānadaṁ jñānarūpiṇam |- Mudgala Purana
It means "He is foremost among the wise, the giver of knowledge, and the embodiment of wisdom"
Sarvavidyāḥ sthitā hastoreṣu |- Narayana Atharvasheersha
It means "All forms of knowledge reside in (Shree Ganesh) your hands."
