In this verse, Sage Vedvyas wrote in the Vanparva of the Mahabharata that Lord Kalki will be born in the house of a prominent Brahmin living in a sacred village named Sambhut Sambhalgram.

According to Bhavishya Malika, this sacred village is located in the eastern region of Goddess Biraja, where a brahmin will sing the glories of Lord Vishnu. In Sanskrit, Sambhut means newly created, and Sambhalgram is a village name.

According to the historical records of Odisha, King Jajati Keshari of the Somavanshi dynasty brought 10,000 Brahmins from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, to perform ten Ashwamedha Yagnas (sacred ritual). He settled them in the eastern part of Goddess Biraja's region, which falls under today's Jajpur district of Odisha. There, he established a newly formed village named Sambhalgram.
