Is it true that non-vegetarians will not survive in the coming times? I’ve been a pure vegetarian since birth, though I was occasionally fed non-veg during early childhood by my mother. Also, is there any spiritual consequence or warning in Bhavishya Malika regarding the act of masturbation?

Those who follow Dharma (righteousness) will always be divinely protected. According to ancient spiritual texts and Bhavishya Malika, living in harmony with truth, purity, and self-discipline is the only way to survive and rise in these challenging times.

About Non-Vegetarianism:

Consuming non-vegetarian food is considered Adharma (non-righteous) because it involves himsa (violence) and goes against the principle of Ahimsa (non-violence). Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapurana and other scriptures promote a Sattvic (pure) lifestyle, which is vegetarian and cruelty-free.

Benefits of a Vegetarian Lifestyle:

  1. Environmentally responsible: reduces pollution, deforestation, and water wastage.
  2. Compassionate and ethical: avoids killing animals and upholds non-violence.
  3. Healthier living: reduces risk of diseases and supports long life.
  4. Spiritually uplifting: purifies mind and body for divine connection.
  5. Globally sustainable: helps conserve food, water, and energy resources.

About Masturbation:

Frequent indulgence in masturbation weakens the body’s vital energy (ojas), disturbs mental peace, and increases tamasic (impure) tendencies. According to Sanatan Dharma, brahmacharya (self-control) is vital for spiritual progress. Bhavishya Malika also warns that those involved in impure acts, lust, and addictions will become spiritually and physically weak—making them prone to suffering in Kaliyuga.

Conclusion:

To protect oneself and move toward the Divine path, one must:
  • Follow the five eternal principles: Truth, Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Peace.
  • Live a vegetarian and addiction-free life.
  • Maintain purity in thoughts, words, and actions.
  • Regularly perform Trisandhya (prayers at dawn, noon, and dusk) and read the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran.

This is the only way to safeguard oneself from the coming challenges and fulfill one’s spiritual destiny.
