1. Does god exist?
Sāt samand kī masi karau, lekhani sab banrāi।
Dhartī sab kāgad karau, tau harī guṇ likhyā na jāi॥
Even if I make the water of the seven seas into ink and all the forests into pens and the entire earth into paper, even then the qualities of God cannot be written because God is endowed with infinite attributes.
According to Hindu scriptures, the universe is composed of five elements—sky, air, fire, water, and earth.
And the word 'Bhagwan' itself reflects this connection to the elements.
Bha - Bhumi (Earth)
Ga - Gagan (Sky)
Va - Vayu (Wind)
Aa - Agni (Fire)
Na - Neer (Water)
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.30)
Shri Bhagwan said - (O Chaturnaanan!) I tell you about my knowledge which is the most secret, which is endowed with science (experience) and is accompanied by devotion, and its means, listen.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.31)
As many forms as I have, as my existence is and whatever my forms, qualities, and actions, by my grace you should learn the knowledge of the same.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.32)
I was the only one before the creation of the universe, apart from me, there was none of the gross, subtle, or natural, even after creation I was there, this world (visible) is also me and whatever remains at the time of destruction is also me.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.33)
That due to which the soul perceives its real meaning even when it is not there and does not perceive its meaning even when it is there, know that to be my Maya, like Abhaas (illusory knowledge of two moons in one moon) and like Rahu (Rahu is not visible even when it is there in the solar system).
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.34)
Just as the five great elements enter and leave the physical objects in the form of cause and effect, similarly I also enter and leave these physical objects (this is my existence).
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.35)
For those who wish to know the soul, the only thing worth knowing is that from the beginning of creation to the end of creation, the one who always remains the same in all three worlds (heaven, earth, hell) and all three times (past, present and future), is God.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2.9.36)
Practice this belief with utmost concentration of the mind; O Brahma, you will never have the pride of being the creator in the various creations of the Kalpa.
Lord Swayambhuva Manu (Lord Brahma's son) left the kingdom after getting detached with all desires and pleasures. He went to the forest with his wife Shatarupa to do penance(tapasya). He did severe penance for a hundred years by standing on one leg on the earth on the banks of river Sunanda and used to praise God in this way every day.
Manuji used to say-
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.1.9)
The one whose consciousness makes this world conscious, but to whom this world cannot donate consciousness; the one who remains awake even in the apocalypse whom it cannot know, but who knows it - he is the Supreme Soul.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.1.10)
This entire world and all living and non-living creatures living in this world - all are filled with that Supreme Soul. Therefore, one should not get attached to any material thing of the world and should use it only for the sustenance of life by abandoning it. Greed should be completely abandoned.
Well, who owns these worldly possessions?
Shrimad Bhagwat Puraan (8.1.11)
God is the witness of everything. He cannot be seen by the intellect, eyes, and other senses. But His power of knowledge is unbroken. Take refuge in that self-illuminating, God who resides in the heart of all living beings.
Shrimad Bhagwat Puraan (8.1.12)
He who has no beginning and no end, then how can there be a middle? He who has neither his own nor others, and neither outside nor inside, is the beginning, end, middle, own and others, outside and inside - everything of the universe.
The universe exists because of His existence. He is the infinite, real, true, Supreme Brahma.
2. What is Time?
In the scriptures, time has been calculated in the following manner:-
One type of time destroys the world, and the other type is calculative, that is, it can be known. Time is also of two types—gross and subtle. Gross can be measured, so it is called concrete, and subtle cannot be measured, so it is called abstract.
The first type of time cannot even be imagined, because neither it is known when it started nor it will be known when it will end. It is unbroken and all-pervasive; but in its midst or while it is present, the world ends; Brahma is born, creates the world, and destroys it, but time remains. That is why it is called the destroyer of the world. That is why death is also called time.
The little middle part of the time can be known; even in that, the tiny part cannot be measured and is called abstract. The more subtle the measurement, the new definition of abstract time will also be;
All the units of time from Praan to above are called Murt (tangible) and the units from Truti to below Praan are called Amurt (immaterial). 6 Praans make one Vinadi (moment) and 60 Vinadis make one Naadi (clock). 60 Naadis make one Nakshatra Ahoratra (a pair of day and night) and 30 Nakshatra Ahoratra make one Nakshatra month. Similarly, 30 saavan days make one Savan month. Similarly, 30 lunar dates make one lunar month and the time from one Sankranti to the next Sankranti is called Solar month. 12 months make one year; which is called holy day or the day of the Gods.
If a healthy person is sitting comfortably, then the time in which he easily inhales and exhales air (Prana Vayu) is called Praan. This is the smallest unit, which could be measured at that time. There was no means of measuring less time than this at that time. That is why it was called intangible. Now such watches are made with which it is easy to measure even that unit which is called intangible. There are 60 ghadis in a Nakshatra day = 60 X 60 pal = 60 X 60 X 60 praan or 21600 praan. Similarly, there are 24 hours in a day = 24 X 60 minutes 24 X 60 X 60 seconds or 86400 seconds. Therefore, there are 4 seconds in 1 praan. Everyone knows how easy it is to measure seconds with a watch that has a second needle. There are also such watches with which one-fifth or one-tenth of a second can be easily known. But 1/10 of a second is like 1/40 of a praan. Therefore, nowadays some units below praan can also be called tangible.
Praan is also called asu...
3. What is the power of God? Who appoints Manu, Manuputra, Saptarishi, Gods etc. in their respective Manvantaras and what work do they do?
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.2)
Shri Shukdev ji says – Parikshit! It is God Himself who appoints Manu, Manuputra, Saptarishi, and Gods.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.3)
Rajan! Manu etc. run the world system with the inspiration of the Yajnapurusha and other incarnations of God that I have described.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.4)
At the end of Chaturyugi, when the Shrutis get destroyed due to the unpleasant circumstances of time, the Saptarishis again encounter them through their penance. Sanatan Dharma is protected only by those verses.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.5)
Rajan! Inspired by God, all Manus, in their respective Manvantars, carefully perform the rituals of the four stages of complete religion on earth.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.6)
Manuputras divide time and space in a manvantara(period of rule of manu) and perform the work of protecting the people and upholding religion. The sages, ancestors, ghosts humans, etc. who are associated with the Panch-Mahayagya and other rituals - the gods associated with them in that manavantar accepts the share of the yagya.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.7)
Indra enjoys the immense wealth of Triloki given by God and takes care of the subjects. He also has the right to bring sufficient rain to the world.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran ( 8.14.8)
From age to age, the Lord preaches knowledge by assuming the form of Siddhas like Sanaka, preaches action by assuming the form of sages like Yagyavalkya, and preaches Yoga in the form of Yogeshwaras like Dattatreya, etc.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.9)
In the form of Prajapatis like Marichi etc., he expands the creation, in the form of an emperor he kills the robbers, and in the form of time, by assuming various qualities like cold, hot, etc., he leads everyone towards destruction.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.10)
The intellect of living beings is getting confused due to the illusion of name and form. That is why they sing the glory of God through many types of philosophical scriptures but are unable to know his real form.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (8.14.11)
Parikshit! In this way, I have told you the extent of Mahakalpa and Avantara Kalpa. The scholars of Puranatattva have told fourteen Manvantaras in each Avantara Kalpa.
4. What is Bhavishya Malika? Who wrote it and why was it written?
Whenever God incarnates on earth by his own will to establish religion, then before his arrival, the description of his birthplace, his divine deeds, his devotees, the state of religion at that time and how God will establish religion, etc., from the beginning of the Yug Sandhya to the establishment of religion and the new age, is written before So that human society can get protection by following the right path of Sanatan dharma(eternal religion).
Just as in the Treta Yug, before the incarnation of Lord Shri Ram, Maharishi Valmiki Ji, on the instructions of the creator of the world Brahma, described the praise of the holy character of Lord Shri Ram in the 'Ramayana Granth', which he had heard from the mouth of Devrishi Narad.
Before the incarnation of Lord Shri Krishna on earth in Dwapar Yuga, Maharishi Vedvyas composed 'Mahabharata Granth' mentioning the Yug Sandhya, the state of religion, and the establishment of Religion with the help of Lord Shri Ganesh while doing penance in the Himalayas.
Similarly, in Kaliyug, to propagate the glory of name chanting, non-violence, love, and devotion in the entire world God incarnated in the form of Chaitanya for the second time, at the same time, the great men among the Panchasakhas, Achyutananda Das, Balaram Das, Jagannath Das, Jaswant Das and Shishu Anant Das also came to this earth 600 years ago, in the 15th century, in the holy land of Utkal (Orissa state) as disciples of Lord Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. And under the instructions of Lord Shri Jagannath ji, they composed the ' Bhavishya Malika Puran Granth '. In this sequence, they composed a group of '185000' texts on palm leaves, which were written in the Oriya language.
In this text, the Pancha Sakhas described in detail the state of religion at the end of Kaliyug, the incarnation of Lord Shri Kalki Ji on earth, the establishment of religion, the salvation of human society, and the divine acts of God till infinite ages.
Every word written in the Bhavishya Malika is as solid as stone and has always been proven true. Such as the atrocities of the Mughals in India, slavery of the British, the events of the freedom struggle and the description of the freedom fighters, India breaking into two countries and becoming independent, the creation of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma, the First World War, the Second World War, unknown disease epidemics, etc. All these events have already happened.
This book has the complete description of Lord Shri Kalki Ji's incarnation on earth, the gathering of devotees, the formation of Sudharma Maha-Maha Sangh and 16 Mandals, partial destruction by, water, fire, earthquake, disease epidemic, and nuclear third world war till the arrival of Anant Yug/ Aadya Satyug(coming golden period) has been given and According to Bhavishya Malika Purana all this process will be completed before 2032, all the religions and sections in the whole world will be reorganized and only true Sanatan Dharma will be established in the whole world.
This book is the warning and the only way to salvation in the whole world and to get protection from the coming Mahavinash(destruction).
After more than 40 years of study and approval of the Malika by Pandit Shri Kashinath Mishra, today for the first time in the world, the first part of ' Bhavishya Malika Purana Granth ' is being presented and released in different languages in more than 150 countries in the whole world including Hindi. In this book, prophecies of the coming great destruction and change have been described. So that human society can get a warning before the coming great destruction and human society can get protection from this great destruction by following the eternal Vedic tradition.
5. Why Bhavishya Malika is a very secret book?
Naitat parasmā ākhyeyaṁ pṛṣṭaṭyāpi kathañca।
Sarvaṁ sampadyate devi devaguhyaṁ susaṁvṛtam॥
When the demon king Bali snatched heaven from the gods, at that time, on the advice of her husband Kashyap, mother Aditi kept a fast called ‘Payovrata’, and pleased with this, God appeared before her and promised to take incarnation as her son.
Lord Shri Krishna tells Mother Aditi, do not tell this secret to anyone because the words of the gods should always be kept secret, only then their work is accomplished.
This makes it clear that the things said about the incarnation of God are extremely secret, and is known to only a few people by the will of God.
Even in the Dwapar Yug, when Lord Shri Krishna appeared, only a few people of Braj could recognize him as God.
Brahma himself, fascinated by his Maya, took away the cowherd boys along with their cows just to identify whether he was God.
Today, the foolish humans of Kaliyug argue, that they need to know and understand these extremely secret mysteries of God. Only devotees chosen by god himself get to know these things when the correct time comes and they believe it.
6. Is the purpose of the Bhavishya Purana to put fear in people's minds?
The great sage Achyutananda Das writes that the Bhavishya Malika was written solely for the salvation of devotees.
56 koṭī jīva jantu,
koṭī taintīs dev।
Kahe Achyuta kṛṣṇa bhakti,
jār bāsnā thīb॥
This means that even 560 million living beings and 330 million gods and goddesses cannot know this secret truth.
This truth can only be attained by those who have been devotees of Krishna in their past lives.
7. Why was the Bhavishya Malika needed when the Bhavishya Purana already existed?
From time to time, various religious texts are written for the welfare of human civilization under the direction of God.
And some religious texts are also amended. This is done only at a particular time under the direction of God, and by someone who is chosen by God.
The Bhavishya Purana describes the situation of Kaliyug.
The Bhavishya Malika Purana describes the end of Kaliyug, the establishment of religion, the appearance of Lord Kalki, and the Anant Yuga(coming golden age) in detail. This is the last text of Sanatan Dharma.
This series has a set of 185000 texts. In these sets of texts, there is a detailed description of the character of devotees, the generations of kings, the detailed description of the future, which sinful deeds led to the end of Kaliyug, Yug Sandhya, the establishment of religion, the appearance of Lord Kalki, the protection and salvation of human civilization.
Bhavishya Malika Purana is the only text in which there is a brief description of Lord Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Mahavishnu(the supreme).
When will the incarnation of God take place, where will it take place, and where is Sambhal village(place of birth)? Who will be the parents of God? etc.., and how the establishment of religion takes place, all this is described only in the Bhavishya Malika Purana. This is a vital part of Jagannath Sanskriti(culture).
Such a detailed description of Kalki Bhagwan(god), the tenth incarnation of Mahavishnu, has not been given in the Bhavishya Purana or any other religious texts.
8. If God Kalki has come then why it is secret?
Whenever God comes to earth in human form to establish religion, only a few devotees come to know about it.
These are the devotees who have been in the company of God in the establishment of religion in the previous eras in their previous births.
That is, only the devotees who are very close to God can understand the inconceivable Leela(Divine Play) of God by the grace of God himself.
No other person can know about God without strong devotion.
Because God cannot be known or understood by the senses. Devotion is the only way to know God.
Even in the Dwapar era, when Lord Shri Krishna was playing Leela with the cowherds in Vrindavan, even Brahma himself was unable to understand it, and even Indradev could not understand that Leela of God.
In this terrible Kaliyug, how can ordinary people understand God's Leela so easily?
To understand the divine play of God, dedication and selfless devotion are necessary. Even a small part of knowledge about God cannot be found through arguments.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (1.1.20)
Lord Krishna used to hide himself and used to act as if he were a human being in front of people. But he has performed such divine plays with Balarama and has also displayed such valor that humans cannot perform.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (1.3.29)
This story of the incarnations of God is extremely secret and mysterious. The person who regularly reads it with full concentration in the evening and morning with love gets rid of all sorrows.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (1.3.35)
Truly, those who are knowledgeable describe the unnatural birth and actions of Lord Hari, the Lord of Hearts, as one who has neither birth nor actions. This is because His birth and actions are the most secret mysteries of the Vedas.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (1.9.16)
No one knows what Shri Krishna wants to do and when. Even great scholars are fascinated by the desire to know this.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (1.9.18-20)
This Shri Krishna is God himself. He is the root cause of all and he is supreme Narayan. Fascinating people with his Maya, he is playing hidden among the Yaduvanshis. 18.
His influence is extremely deep and mysterious. Yudhishthir! Only Lord Shankar, Devarshi Narad, and Lord Kapil himself know about it. 19.
The one whom you consider your cousin, dear friend, and the biggest well-wisher and whom you have not hesitated to make your minister, messenger, and charioteer out of love, is the Supreme Being himself. 20.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (7.9.38)
Purushottam! In this way, you take the incarnation of a human, animal, bird, sage, fish, etc., and protect the world and kill the enemies of the world. Through these incarnations, you protect the religions of each era. In Kaliyug you remain hidden and secret, that is why one of your names is also 'Triyug'.
9. What is the description in Bhavishya Malika regarding the signs of the end of Kali Yuga? And what signs of the end of Kaliyug are seen from the Jagannath Temple of Puri?
Panchasakhas(five great devotees) wrote Bhavishya Malaika under the instructions of God. Bhavishya Malaika mainly describes the social, physical, and geographical changes regarding the decline of Kaliyug. Apart from written in the scriptures, the main region of Shri Jagannathji has been described as Martya Vaikunth(Vaitkunth is the divine place of god and martya means on earth). After 5,000 years of Kaliyug, Panchasakhas said that various signs will appear from the Nilachal region of Shri Jagannathji through which the devotees will get to know completely about the end of the age of Kaliyug and the incarnation of Lord Kalki. We can understand all these facts from the song given below -
Divya siṁha aṅke bābū sarba dekhibu,
Chāḍi cakā galu bolī niścaya jāṇibu।
Nara bāluta rūpare āmbhe janmibu॥
Mahatma Achyutanandaji has described the first servant of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath and King ( Divya Singh Dev 4) of Sanatan Dharma who is in charge at present time and mentioned in the above verse. Mahapurush also mentioned that according to the tradition of King Indradyumna in the region of Jagannath, different kings were in charge of the region of Jagannath at different times. When the fourth Divya Singh Dev takes charge, 5000 years will have passed. From this, Mahapurush Achyutananda proved two things - one is that the Divya Singh Dev 4 will take charge as the king and the other thing is that 5,000 years of Kaliyug have already passed. (Right now the 5125th year of Kaliyug is going on.)
Mahatma Achyutananda wrote in the series that when the Divya Singh Dev 4 will be in power (which is today) then that will be the proof of the end of Kaliyug. Again, Mahapurush Achyutanandaji explained in the above lines that when the Divya Singh Dev 4 will rule in Srikshetra, Lord Jagannath will take the form of Kalki and will take birth in human form and will work to establish religion.
Mahapurush Achyutanandaji has clearly said that during the time of the Divya Singh Dev 4, Kali Yuga will be completed and Lord Jagannath will have to take birth as a child in the form of Kalki.
Achyutanandaji explained in his book 'Ashta Gujri'-
Pūrva bhānu abā paścimeṁ jiba Achyuta bacana āna nohiba।
Parvata śikhare phuṭiba kaiṁ Achyuta bacana mithyā nuṁhai।
Thu la sunyaku mu kariṇa āsa ṭhike bhaṇile Śrī Achyuta dāsa॥
That is, Achyutanandaji, by declaring the purity and truth of the Malika, awakening the devotion and faith in the minds of the devotees by saying that the sun may rise in the west and the lotus may bloom on the top of the mountain, but the words written by me will never be proven wrong.....
10. What information does the Shrimad Bhagavatam provide about the state of Kali Yuga?
The first phase of Kaliyug is going on or we can say that it is in its infancy and the age of Kaliyug is 432,000, this is what the Priests, preachers, and saints are saying, but clear evidence about the state of Kaliyug has been given in Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran. When 2300 years of Kaliyug have passed, Bhakti Devi and Narad Muni had a conversation, this is mentioned in the first chapter of Bhagwat Mahatmya.
According to this conversation, at that time, a severe Kaliyug was going on and Kaliyug was in its worst state, this is what Narad Muni was telling Bhakti Devi. This is clear from the shloka given below. Now 5128 years of Kaliyug have passed. We have to think about which stage of Kaliyug would be going on right now?
You can see below-:
Iha ghore kalau prāyo jīvaś cāsuratāṁ gataḥ।
Kleśākrāntasya tasyaiva śodhane kiṁ parāyaṇam॥ 6
In this terrible Kali-kala, the beings have become almost demonic. What is the best way to make these beings pure (endowment with divine powers) afflicted with various afflictions? ॥6॥
Nārada uvāca:
Ahaṁ tu pṛthivīṁ yāto jñātvā sarvottamāmiti।
Puṣkaraṁ ca Prayāgaṁ ca Kāśīṁ Godāvarī tathā॥ 28
Harikṣetraṁ Kurukṣetraṁ Śrīraṅga Setubandhanam।
Evamādiṣu tīrtheṣu bhramamāṇa itas tataḥ॥ 29
Nāpaśyaṁ kutracic charma manaḥsaṁtoṣakārakam।
Kalinā dharmamitreṇa dhareyaṁ bādhitādhunā॥ 30
Naradji said- I came to the earth thinking it to be the best world. Here I roamed here and there in many pilgrimage places like Pushkar, Prayag, Kashi, Godavari (Nashik), Haridwar, Kurukshetra, Shrirang and Setubandh; but I did not find peace that would satisfy my mind anywhere. At this time, Kaliyug, the supporter of evil, has tormented the entire earth.॥ 28-30॥
Satyaṁ nāsti tapaḥ śaucaṁ dayā dānaṁ na vidyate।
Udaraṁbhariṇo jīvā varākāḥ kūṭabhāṣiṇaḥ॥ 31
Mandāḥ sumandamatayo mandabhāgyā hyapagatāḥ।
Pākhaṇḍaniratāḥ santo viraktāḥ saparigrahāḥ॥ 32
Taruṇīprabhutā gehe śyālako buddhidāyakaḥ।
Kanyāvikrayiṇo lobhād dampatīnāṁ ca kalkanam॥ 33
Now here there is no truth, penance, cleanliness (purity inside and outside), mercy, charity, etc. These poor creatures are only engaged in earning their stomachs; they have become liars, lazy, dim-witted, unfortunate, and trouble-prone. Those who are called saints and sages have become complete hypocrites; they appear detached, but they run for their materialistic desires, etc. Women rule in the houses, brothers-in-law have become advisors, people sell their daughters out of greed and there is a quarrel between men and women. ॥31-33॥
Āśramā yavanai rudhās tīrthāni saritas tathā।
Devatāyatanāny atra duṣṭai naṣṭāni bhūriśaḥ॥ 34
The hermitages of the great souls, the holy places, and the rivers have come under the control of the Yavanas (heretics); those wicked ones have also destroyed many temples. ॥34॥
Na yogī naiva siddho vā na jñānī sakriyo naraḥ।
Kalidāvānalenādya sādhanaṁ bhasmatāṁ gatam॥ 35
At this time there is no Yogi or Siddha, no wise man or one who does good deeds. At this time all the means have been burnt to ashes by the fire of Kali(a demon which influences kaliyug). ॥35॥
Aṭṭaśūlā janapadāḥ śivaśūlā dvijātayaḥ।
Kāminyaḥ keśaśūlinyaḥ sambhavanti kalāviha॥ 36
In this Kali-yuga all the citizens of the country have started selling food grains in the markets, Brahmins teach the Vedas for money and women have started living as prostitutes. ॥36॥
Utpannā drāviḍe sāhaṁ vṛddhiṁ karṇāṭake gatā।
Kvacit kvacin mahārāṣṭra gurjare jīrṇatāṁ gatā॥ 48
I was born in the Dravidian country, grew up in Karnataka, and was honored at some places in Maharashtra; but in Gujarat, old age surrounded me. ॥48॥
Tatra ghorakalaugāt pākhaṇḍaiḥ khaṇḍitāṅgakā।
Durbalāhaṁ ciraṁ yātā putrābhyāṁ saha mandatām॥ 49
There, due to the terrible effects of Kali Yuga, the hypocrites made weak me. Due to this condition lasting for a long time, I became weak along with my sons. 49.
Śṛṇuṣvāvahitā bāle yugo'yaṁ dāruṇaḥ kaliḥ।
Tena luptaḥ sadācāro yogamārgas tapāṁsi ca॥ 57
Narada said, "Devi! Listen carefully. This is the terrible Kali Yuga. That is why good conduct, the path of Yoga and penance etc. have all vanished in this time." ॥ 57॥
Janā aghāsurāyante śāṭhyaduṣkarmakāriṇaḥ।
Iha santo viṣīdanti prahṛṣyanti hyasādhavaḥ।
Dhatte dhairyaṁ tu yo dhīmān sa dhīraḥ paṇḍito thavā॥ 58
People are becoming Aghasur(a demon) by indulging in deceit and evil deeds. Wherever you see in the world, the virtuous are saddened by sorrow and the wicked are becoming happy. At this time, the wise man who has patience is the one who is very knowledgeable or a scholar.॥58॥
Aspṛśyānavalokyeyaṁ śeṣabhārakarī dharā।
Varṣe varṣe kramāj jātā maṅgalaṁ nāpi dṛśyate॥ 59
Gradually every year the earth becomes a burden for Sheshnaag(on which Mahavishnu rests and Sheshnaag who holds the earth and the earth is becoming heady due to sins). Now it is not even worth seeing or touching it, and no auspiciousness is seen anywhere in it. 59
11. According to the Srimad Bhagavat Mahapurana, when will Kali Yuga end and Satya Yuga begin?
Yadā candraś ca sūryaś ca tathā tiṣyabṛhaspatī।
Ekarāśau sameṣyanti bhaviṣyati tadā kṛtam॥
When the Moon, Sun, and Jupiter enter the first part together of Pushya Nakshatra and come to the same zodiac sign at the same time, that is when Satyayug will commence.
According to astrological calculations, during the 5127 years of Kaliyug, the Sapta Rishis visited Pushya Nakshatra twice, but this astronomical event happened only on 1st August 1943. Hence, it is clear that the Satyayug era started on 1st August 1943.
Just like any construction takes a lot of time to be built, and it takes some time to destroy it as well, similarly, this Kaliyug took 5000 years to be built and it may take 70-80 years to be destroyed.
12. What is the duration of the four yugas as mentioned in the Vayu Purana?
Yathā vedaś catuṣpādaś catuṣpādaṁ tathā yugam।
Yathā yugaṁ catuṣpādaṁ vidhātrā vihitaṁ svayam॥
Catuṣpādaṁ purāṇaṁ tu brahmaṇā vihitaṁ purā॥
Just as God has made the Vedas Chatushpad, similarly Brahmaji has also divided each Yuga into four padas.
The names of these four pada (quarters) are as follows-
1- Prakriya Pada
2- Anushang Pada
3- Upodghat Pada
4- Sanhar Pada
Satyayuga enjoys one pada, Tretayuga enjoys two padas, Dwaparyuga enjoys three padas and Kaliyuga enjoys four padas.
In these verses, the age of the four Yugas has been stated as 12,000 human years.
The word 'Divya' has not been used in any verse, instead human years have been used. Hence it is clear that mysterious changes have been made in the Sanatan scriptures with time.
Vayu Purana (Chapter 32), Manusmriti
Catvāryāhuḥ sahastrāṇi varṣāṇāṁ ca kṛtaṁ yugam।
Tasya tāvac chatī sandhyā sandhyāṁśaś ca tathā vidhaḥ॥ 58
Kṛte vai prakriyāpādaśvatuhuśāhasra ucyate।
Tasmāc catuḥśataṁ sandhyā sandhyāṁśaś ca tathāvidhaḥ॥ 59
Kaliyug is 4,000 human years. Its 'Sandhya' is of 400 years and 'Sandhyamsha' is of 400 years. Thus Kaliyug is of 4,800 years and its one pada i.e. fourth part is 1,000. Satyayug has an age of 1,200 years.
Trētā trīṇi sahastrāṇi, saṅkhyayā munibhiḥ saha।
Tasyāpi triśatī sandhyā sandhyāṁ śastriśataḥ smṛtaḥ॥ 60
Anuṣaṅgapādastreṭāyāstrisāhasrastu saṅkhyayā।
Tretayug is of 3,000 human years and the duration of Tretayug is 3,600 human years including 300 years of Sandhya and 300 years of Sandhyamsha. This Tretayug experiences two parts, one is Procession Pada and the other is Anushang Pada. The years of both those Pada and accordingly the duration of Sandhya and Sandhyamsha together make Tretayug experience 3600 years.
Dvāpare he sahasre tu varṣāṇāṁ samprakīrtitam॥ 61
Tasyāpi dviśatī sandhyā sandhyāṁśo dviśatastathā।
Upodaghātastreṭīyastu dvāpare pāda ucyate॥ 62
this Dwaparyug experiences the duration of three padas. One is Processing pada, the second is Anushang pada and the third is Upodghat pada - the years of these three padas and accordingly 300-300 years of Sandhya and Sandhyaamsha together make the age of Dwaparyug 3,600 years.
Kali varṣa sahasrantu prāhuḥ
Saṅkhyāvido janāḥ।
Tasyāpi śatikā sandhyā
Sandhyāṁśaḥ śatameva ca॥ 63
Saṁhāra pādaḥ saṅkhyāś caturtho
Vai: kalau yuge।
Sasaṁdhyāni sahāṁśāni catvāri tu yugāni vai॥ 64
Kaliyug is of thousand years and its Sandhi is of 100 years and Sandhyaamsha is of 100 years, thus there are 1200 years, but Kaliyug enjoys the time of four padas, that is, one process pada, second Anushang pada, third Upodghata pada and fourth Sanhaar pada, thus 4,000 of four padas and accordingly 400 years of Sandhya and Sandhyaamsha, 400 years each, together Kaliyug enjoys the age of 4,800 years.
Etad dvādaśasāhasra caturyugam iti smṛtam।
Evaṁ pādaiḥ sahasrāṇi ślokānāṁ pañca pañca ca॥ 65
Sandhyāsadhyāṁśakaireva dve sahasra tathā'pare।
Evaṁ dvādaśasāhasra purāṇaṁ kavayo viduḥ॥ 66
The duration of all four yugas along with Sandhya and Sandhyamsha is said to be 12000 years. The sum of all these Yuga padas is 10000 years and Sandhya and Sandhyamsha are 2000 years. Thus the total duration of Yuga padas is said to be 12000 years.
13. What is written about the divine year, solar year, or human year in Surya Siddhanta, Mahabharata and Manusmriti?
Aindavastithibhiḥ tadvatsankrāntyā saur ucyate।
Māsair dvādaśabhir varṣa divyaṁ tadaha ucyate॥
According to this shloka, it is proved that in Surya Siddhanta, only the solar year is considered a divine year and not any other.
Tadvādaśasahasrāṇi caturyugam udāhṛtam।
Sūryābdasaṅkhyayā dvitrisāgarairayutāhataiḥ॥
Sandhyāsandhyāṁśasahitaṁ vijñeyaṁ taccaturyugam।
Kṛtādīnāṁ vyavasthēyaṁ dharmapādavyavasthayā॥
All four yugas together constitute 12000 years of a solar year. This is the system of all four yugas together with Sandhya and Sandhyansh.
Ahorātre vibhajate sūryo mānuṣadaivike।
Rātriḥ svapnāya bhūtānāṁ ceṣṭāyai karmaṇāmahaḥ॥
That is, the Sun divides the day and night of humans and gods. It is clear from this verse that the Yuga calculation has been done in human years (i.e. solar years) and not in divine years.
Ye te rātryahani pūrvaṁ kīrtite jīvalaukike।
Tayoḥ saṅkhyāya varṣāgraṁ brāhme vakṣyāmyahaḥ kṣape॥
That is, Chaturyuga has been calculated according to the number of human worlds.
14. What does the Garga Samhita say about the end of Kali Yuga?
Abdāś catuḥsahasrāṇi kalau pañca śatāni ca।
Gate girivare hi Śrīnāthaḥ prādurbhaviṣyati॥
That is, after 4000 years of Kaliyuga, 400 years after its sandhya time, Lord Mahavishnu (Srinath) will incarnate on earth and end the burden of sins.
15. What does the Brahma Vaivarta Purana say about the end of Kali Yuga?
Kalauḥ pañcasahasre ca gate varṣe ca mokṣaṇam।
Yuṣmākaṁ saritāṁ bhūyo madgṛhe cāgamiṣyatha॥
Mother Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Ganga had to descend on earth due to a mutual curse. Regarding their salvation, the Lord tells them that after five thousand years of Kaliyug, they will attain salvation, and after being freed from the form of a river, they will come back to me in Vaikuntha.
Kaleḥ pañcasahasrāṇi varṣāṇi tiṣṭha bhūtale।
Pāpāni pāpino yāni tubhyaṁ dāsyanti snānata॥
Manmantropāsak sparśād bhasmībhūtāni tatkṣaṇāt।
Bhaviṣyanti darśanāc ca snānād eva hi Jāhnavi॥
Shri Krishna said- O Ganga, you will stay on earth for five thousand years in Kaliyug. All the sins of the devotees will be destroyed by bathing in your water, chanting mantras, and seeing you.
Madbhaktāśūnya pṛthvī kaligrasta bhaviṣyati।
Etasminnantare tatra kṛṣṇādehavinirgataḥ॥
The effects of Kali will affect the earth, which is devoid of my devotees. Saying this, Shri Krishna left the earth.
16. What does the Atharva Veda say about the calculation of yugas?
Śataṁ te'ayutaṁ hāyanāndre yuge trīṇi catvāri kṛṇmaḥ।
Indrāgnī viśve devās te'anu manyantām ahṛṇīyamānāḥ॥
Oh child, I can turn 100 years of your age into a thousand years, a thousand years into two Yugas, two Yugas into three Yugas, and three Yugas into four Yugas. The Indra, Agni, and Vishwa Dev(devtas) should accept this prayer without any shame or anger.
That is, it is in the power of Param Brahma Parmatma that he can increase or decrease the age of any Yuga and everyone will have to accept it.
17. What do various Hindu scriptures say about the signs of the end of Kali Yuga?
- Mahabharata Van Parva (188. 29-64) (190. 1-88)
- Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (12.2, 1-16) (12.3, 25-50)
- Vayu Purana (58. 48-72)
- Shri Harivansh Purana Bhavishya Parva (Chapter 3,4)
- Shri Vishnu Purana Sixth Part (Chapter 1)
- Ramcharitmanas Uttar Kand (Page 999- 1004)
- Valmiki Ramayana, Ramayana Mahatmya (1. 7-14)
What has been described in the above religious texts about the signs of the end of Kaliyug is as follows -
At the end of Kaliyug, people will become hypocrites.
Yagya, donation, fasting, and penance will be done only just for name, not in the right way.
People will not perform their duties according to Varnashram Dharma(Social order).
Brahmins will perform the duties of Shudras, while Shudras will earn their livelihood by the deeds of Vaishyas and Kshatriyas.
In the last part of Kaliyug, Brahmins will give up Yagya, Swadhyaya(study of the scriptures), and Danda(Discipline), will eat meat, fish, and non-vegetarian food; will run away from chanting and penance.
Kings will be thieves and exploiters of the people, will rule by deceit, will be sinners and liars, and will impose many taxes on the people.
People will be of short height and their physical strength will reduce a lot.
Despite not knowing, they will talk about Brahma Gyan(divine knowledge) in vain and will read Vedas after eating non-vegetarian food.
People will indulge in lust and will have relations with more than one woman.
Women will also be of short height and will leave their husbands and go to other men. Women will earn their living through prostitution.
Cows will give very little milk and it will not be sweet.
There will be no taste in food and fruits. Brahmins will drink alcohol and many people will drink alcohol, gamble, and eat inedible things(like non-veg).
At the end of Kaliyug, the number of disguised sadhus(saints) will increase. They will mislead people with many sects and hypocrisy and will loot them and live a life of luxury.
People will go mad for a little money and kill their relatives.
At the end of Kaliyug, women of 7-8 years will conceive, and men of 10 to 12 years will also produce sons.
At the age of 16, the hair of a person will turn grey, foeticide, animal slaughter, cow slaughter, theft, and robbery will spread everywhere and the average age of a person will be 25 to 30 years.
The rays of the Sun God will become very intense, sometimes there will be drought, sometimes there will be sudden rain, sometimes there will be flood without a rainy season, and no season will follow its religion.
Human beings will be engaged only in earning money and maintaining their families. People will become proud of their little wealth and similarly, there are many other signs which are mentioned in various scriptures regarding the end of Kali Yuga and all of them are clearly visible today all over the world.
But it is not written anywhere in any religion or Sanatan religious texts that at the end of Kaliyug, men will climb gram or brinjal trees, 7 to 8-year-old women will become grandmothers and there will be no Bhagwat Katha anywhere - all these things are not scriptural. These are only misleading things(some signs are misled so we think that Kaliyug has not ended, but it has ended).
When Devrishi Narad was talking to Bhakti Mata, he said that in this terrible Kaliyug, all the Sanatan pilgrimage sites are under the control of heretics. And Bhagwat was not being recited anywhere(many years ago, as mentioned in previous questions).
In the first chapter of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran in Bhakti Narad Samvad
Devrishi Narad has already described the terrible Kaliyug many times ago that today's religious preachers don’t talk about.
18. Is the future already predetermined? Were the Ramayana and Mahabharata written beforehand?
Saṅkṣepato mayoktāni sapta manvantarāṇi te।
Bhaviṣyāṇy atha vakṣyāmi viṣṇoḥ śaktyānvitāni ca॥
Here, Mahamuni Shukdev is shedding light on who will be Manu, Saptarishi, Devta, and Indra of the coming seven Manvantaras to Maharaja Parikshit.
That is, not only Ramayana, Mahabharata, or Bhavishya Purana, but the future of thousands of Yugas to come, who will be the kings, who will be Indra, who will be Prajapati, who will be the Sapta Rishi, who will be the Devta, etc., all these futures are predetermined.
When the time comes, this secret knowledge is imparted for the welfare of human society by the special people appointed by God with the permission of God.
19. Is the future of all living beings predetermined?
Karmānubandhinī manuṣyaloke।
Human beings are subject to the bondage of karma.
The future of a human being is determined on the basis of his karma of the present and previous birth.
A living being gets human birth when crores of virtues arise. A human being is born in a high, ordinary, or low family according to the karma of his previous birth.
The path of a living being is determined through the karma done in the human birth, that is, the living being has to wander in high and low births.
Out of 84 lakh births, only human birth is the karma birth, all other births come under the bhog birth(to bear fruits of deeds of human birth ).
But only in human birth, the living being has the power to determine the future through karma.
Through Trikal Sandhya(praying 3 particular times in a day as told in Malika), Bhagwat Paath(reading Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran), and Naam Bhajan(name chanting), a human being can convert inauspicious destiny into an auspicious one and can also achieve the ultimate salvation.
20. What is the 'Daarun' (Terrible) Kali Yuga?
Padma Purana Uttarakhand and Srimad Bhagavad Mahatmya Bhakti Narada Samvad Chapter I
Kaliyug had arrived when Lord Shri Krishna left the earth. Its effect was not that much during the time of the rule of King Parikshit, but when King Parikshit left for the earth, from that time Kaliyug started expanding slowly.
After about 2500 years had passed in the middle of Kaliyug, when Devrishi Narad ji came back considering the earth to be the best place, he saw that all the pilgrimage places of Sanatan Dharma, Haridwar, Kashi, Prayag, Dwarika, Pushkar, Rameshwaram, Kurukshetra, Ujjain, Mathura, etc. were under the control of the heretic invaders.
At that time, there was a state of panic in the entire land of India. The terrible Kaliyug had taken a cruel form.
People had deviated from the path of the Vedas. There was a show of hypocrisy all around. Nothing was left of truth, penance, thinking (purity from outside and inside), charity, mercy, etc.
Sadhus and saints had become hypocrites and greedy. A large number of Hindu temples were destroyed by attacks. Due to the severe effects of Kaliyug, devotion had disappeared. Knowledge and detachment were in a dilapidated state.
Then Narad ji told Bhakti Mata that this is a terrible Kaliyug.
Due to this, at this time, all the good conduct, yoga, path, etc. have disappeared. According to the first chapter of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahatmya, when Devrishi Narad met Bhakti Mata, at that time the middle period of Kaliyug i.e. severe Kaliyug was going on.
Those who say that Kaliyug is still in its infancy due to ignorance due to a lack of knowledge of the essence of the scriptures, they should study the Sanatan Dharma scriptures properly. All the gentlemen who love Sanatan Dharma should read Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran daily and do Trikal Sandhya so that we can know the ultimate element of Sanatan.
21. What is Sanatan Dharma? How old is Sanatan Dharma? Who created Sanatan Dharma?
God clearly says that this Sanatan Dharma is my form.
The literal meaning of 'Sanatan' is eternal or 'always lasting', that is, which has no beginning and no end.
The literal meaning of 'Dharma' is to adopt, that is, to identify the quality of that particular thing or person.
For example, the sky is eternal, and its Dharma or quality is sound.
The air is eternal, its Dharma or quality is touch.
The fire is eternal, its Dharma or quality is form.
The water is eternal, its Dharma or quality is taste.
The earth is eternal, its Dharma or quality is the smell.
Similarly, all human beings are eternal, their Dharma or quality is consciousness and service
. While being conscious, a human being should see all the eternal, physical, and non-physical, universe with equal feelings and not with discrimination and should adopt truth, love, kindness, forgiveness, and friendship and live a virtuous life by performing Trisandhya, this is the basic element of Sanatan Dharma.
Just like air, water, sky, fuel (fire) and earth are eternal, in its view there is no difference of big, small, high or low, or caste. It gives its quality or Dharma to all creatures equally.
Similarly, the meaning of Sanatan Dharma is to always remain in the same quality for everyone or to see all creatures as souls and treat them equally.
22. What are the Vedas and why were they written?
Vedas are the ultimate eternal scriptures of Sanatan culture.
They are very useful for the liberation and salvation of every living being from the cycle of life and death.
Just as we buy any item or equipment, the guideline book for the use of that item teaches us how to use it.
In the same way, before the creation of the universe, the instructions for the operation of the universe, which are given by Lord Parabrahma Narayan Mahavishnu himself for the welfare of the universe, which teach us how to live human life, are called Vedas.
23. What are Puranas and why were they written?
Since the creation of the world, there have been many incarnations of God.
The texts in which the description of God's infinite incarnations is found are called Puranas.
Puranas have been composed to attain God through devotion, knowledge, and detachment.
All the Leelas that God performs in the mortal world in the infinite incarnations of God, the description of the character of devotees, the description of the past and future, all those Leela(divine play) stories are described through the Puranas under the instructions of God himself.
So that man can read those Leela stories and follow them to attain salvation and the ultimate position.
24. Why is the Bhagavata Mahapurana considered a major Purana? And why was it written?
Even after dividing the Vedas, composing the epic Mahabharata, and composing the eighteen Puranas, the mind of Maharishi Veda Vyas Ji was incomplete.
Then Devrishi Narad Ji told Vyas Ji the reason for that incompleteness was that you had not composed such a book in which the character of Lord Shri Krishna's Leela, qualities, and incarnations are described.
And in Kaliyug, the lifespan of man will be less and the intellect will also be unable to understand the Vedas and other religious texts, and scriptures.
Therefore, for the salvation of the low-intellect humans of Kaliyug, Vyas Ji composed the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran.
And God promised that I will always be present in Bhagwat.
This element has been created from the eternal Brahma. It is the essence of all the Vedas, Puranas, and Upanishads, that is why it is a Mahapuran.
By daily reading of this supreme scripture, there is no untimely death, disease, epidemic, fear of enemies, etc. and man can attain Bhagwat(god) even in Kaliyug and reach the ultimate salvation.
This Shrimad Bhagwat is a very secret and mysterious Purana. It gives the experience of the form of God and is the essence of all the Vedas.
For those who are trapped in the world and want to cross this deep darkness of ignorance, this is a unique lamp illuminating the spiritual elements. Actually, out of compassion for them, Shri Shukdevji, the teacher of great sages, has described it.
Both hearing and singing the glory of Lord Shri Krishna are purifying. He comes and resides in the heart of those who listen to His story and destroy their evil desires; because He is the eternal friend of the saints.
When evil desires are destroyed by the constant reading of Shrimad Bhagwat or the devotees of God, then one attains permanent love for the pure fame of Lord Shri Krishna.
Then the emotions of Rajogun and Tamogun ie lust and greed are calmed down and the mind becomes free from these and becomes pure and situated in Sattvagun(purity).
In this way, when all worldly attachments are erased by loving devotion to God and the heart is filled with joy, then
the essence of God is automatically experienced.
As soon as the self-realized God is realized in the heart, the knot in the heart breaks, and all doubts disappear and the bondage of karma diminishes.
Due to this, intelligent people continuously do love and devotion towards Lord Shri Krishna with great joy, which leads to the attainment of self-satisfaction.
25. Why is it necessary to read the Srimad Bhagavat Mahapurana? Won't reading the Ramcharitmanas, Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, Shiv Purana, or other religious texts lead to salvation?
Even after composing the eighteen Puranas, a division of the Vedas, Maharishi(great saint) Ved Vyas Ji was somewhat sad.
On being asked by Devrishi Narad, Maharishi Ved Vyas told the reason for his sadness and said, O Devrishi Narad, I have composed many texts, eighteen Purana, Mahabharat, even after composing epics, one question comes to my mind!
In Kaliyug, the lifespan of man will be short and intelligence will also be short, in such a situation, how will the people of Kaliyug understand the essence of millions of verses of so many texts, that is, how will they be able to move forward on the path of attaining God. It is impossible to get salvation in this terrible Kaliyug.
On this Devrishi Narad said that you should compose such a text which is full of devotion, knowledge, and detachment and is full of the sweet leelas of Lord Shri Krishna. By listening, reading, and meditating, the soul can be freed from Kaliyug's bad traits and can be saved and man can get salvation in Kaliyug.
For this reason, for the welfare of mankind in Kaliyug, Vedvyas ji composed the very rare Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran scripture in which devotion, knowledge, and detachment, elements have been given prominence.
Before going to his heavenly abode, Lord Shri Krishna tells Uddhav(his devotee) that I will remain eternally present in the form of Bhagwat in Kaliyug. And whoever will read the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran daily, I will take him to Vaikunth by freeing him from the fear of disease, sorrow, and premature death.
For this reason, in Kaliyug, Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran has been described as the best and the only means of quick salvation from all other scriptures. This scripture is available only to humans in Kaliyug, this story is rare even for the gods.
When Shukdev (great saint) was making King Parikshit enjoy this rare story, at that time the gods came there with a pot of nectar. They prayed to Shukdev ji that we would make Maharaj Parikshit drink nectar(nectar makes Immortal), and in return, you donate Bhagwatamrit(content of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran) to us. At that time, Shukdev ji considered the Gods to be of little knowledge and had no right to this extremely secret scripture and did not give them the nectar of Bhagwat.
Prītiḥ śaunaka citte te hyato vacmi vicārya ca।
Sarvasiddhāntaniṣpannaṁ saṁsārabhayanāśanam॥
Sut ji tells the sages like Shaunaka that you have the love of God in your heart. Therefore, after thinking, I will tell you the conclusion of all the principles which will destroy the fear of birth and death.
Bhaktyoghavardhanaṁ yac ca kṛṣṇasaṅtoṣahetukam।
Tad ahaṁ te'bhidhāsyāmi sāvadhānatayā śṛṇu॥
I am telling you the means that increases the flow of devotion and is the main reason for the pleasure of Lord Shri Krishna, listen carefully.
Kālavīyāl-mukhagrāsatrāsaniṛṇāśa-hetave।
Śrīmadbhāgavatam śāstram kalau kīreṇa bhāṣitam॥
Shri Shukdev Mahamuni has preached the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran scripture to destroy the fear of being swallowed by the serpent of death in Kaliyug.
Etasmādaparaṁ kiṁcin manaḥ śuddhyai na vidyate।
Janmāntare bhavet puṇyaṁ tadā bhāgavataṁ labhet॥
There is no better means than this for the purification of the mind. When the merits of many births emerge, only then does a man receive the Bhagwat.
Therefore, for the salvation of the entire human society, daily reading of this extremely rare Great Bhagwat scripture is more important than other scriptures.
26. Why was the Varna system(hierarchical social order) created? Is a person's Varna (caste) determined from birth? Does Sanatan Dharma describe caste discrimination?
Caste system was created to ensure the smooth functioning of creation.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (11.17.10)
confirms that at the beginning of this Kalpa, all human beings had only one caste called 'Hans'. At that time, all people were satisfied from birth.
With time, the Vedas and the Karma form division were divided into four castes ie Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras. Brahmins are considered to be the mouth of God, Kshatriyas are deemed to be the arms of God, Vaishyas are considered to be the thighs and Shudras are considered to be the feet of God.
Yajna(A vedic ritual), Yajna(officiating a yajna), studying, teaching, giving donations, and taking donations are the duties of Brahmins.
Valour, brilliance, patience, cleverness not running away in the war, giving donations, and. the ability to rule are the duties of Kshatriyas.
Farming, protecting cows, and doing business are the duties of Vaishyas.
Serving all other Varnas are the duties of Shudras.
Bhagavad Gita (18.41)
God says that the Varna (caste) of a man is determined not by birth but by his deeds.
This makes it clear that there is no caste distinction in Sanatan Dharma. Over time, caste distinction was given priority to degrade Sanatan Dharma.
27. What is Moksha(ultimate liberation)? What happens to a soul after Moksha?
Mukti or the Supreme Goal means that the soul, being freed from the cycle of birth and death, attain an immortal body.
Mukti or ultimate salvation means being freed from the bondage of the soul cycle and attaining an immortal body.
Every living being wanders in 84 lakh yonis and is born as a human being, animal, bird, insect, aquatic creature, or small creature.
Human birth is the only birth to attain salvation, salvation cannot be attained in any other birth.
A living being has human birth only to attain salvation by doing Bhakti(love, surrender, and service).
Bhakti is the only easy path by which a human can attain ultimate salvation (Vaikunth Lok).
When a living being gets salvation, at the time of death, the representatives of Lord Mahavishnu come and take the liberated soul on a journey to Vaikunth Lok in a golden plane(divine plane).
Where a human being gets a divine body. Which is also called Amar Sharir(no death). Which never decays, never gets old, never feels hungry, never feels thirsty, never feels sad, never has any disease, where a human always remains young.
Where a human always lives in bliss with Lord Shri Krishna, Mother Radha Rani, and their devotees. That divine body never gets destroyed even at the time of Brahma Pralaya(destruction of the universe).
28. What is the greatest religion and the greatest action for a human being?
Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapurana ( 1.2.5-11)
The story of the Bhagwat and the importance of devotion to the Lord
The best religion for human beings is that by which there is devotion to the Lord such that there is no desire of any kind and which remains eternally continuous.
As soon as there is devotion to Lord Krishna the mind is connected to him with love, a devotee gets pure knowledge and renunciation.
Even after properly performing Dharma, if there is no passion for the stories of the Lord's pastimes in the heart of a man, it is mere labor.
The fruit of righteousness is salvation. Its significance lies not in the attainment of materialistic achievements. Pleasure is not supposed to be its fruit.
The fruit of pleasure is not to satisfy the senses, its purpose is only to maintain life. The fruit of life is also elemental curiosity. Getting heaven and other things by doing a lot of karma is not his fruit.
The philosophers call the undivided, unique, and absolute consciousness (Saccidananda) that is devoid of the distinction between the knower and the known, as Tattva. Some call it Brahman, some call it Paramatma, and some call it God.
29. What is "Trikal Sandhya" or "Trisandhya"? Why we should do Trisandhya?
According to Sanatan culture, during the three Sandhya(twilight) periods, In that Lord Mahavishnu is praised and thanked for controlling the creation and existence of the universe.
Morning-Brahma Muhurta(early morning), noon- and sunset (twilight) times are called Sandhya Kaal.
Morning Sandhya when night is over and sunrise takes place is one Sandhya Kaal.
Midday Sandhya when the day rises is one Sandhya Kaal.
Evening Sandhya when the sun sets, the day ends, and night arrives, is one Sandhya Kaal.
During these three times, Lord Mahavishnu is praised by all the Gods, Rishis, Munis, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Brahmaloka, Kailash Lok, Pitru Lok, Surya Lok, Chandra Lok, etc.(different entities and at different places in the universe)
Due to the severe effect of Kaliyug, Sanatan culture started vanishing and the daily routine of man and the Trisandhya routine vanished.
Once again, in the future, the great man Achyutananda Das Ji has said that Trisandhya Dhara is very important and necessary for the welfare of all human beings to get salvation from Kaliyug and to go to Satyayug.
30. With which mantras(sacred utterance) is Trisandhya performed?
Lord Vishnu and Maa Mahalakshmi are mainly praised in Trisandhya.
In Trisandhya -
Gayatri Mantra
10 Avatar Stotra
Vishnu Shodash Naam
Durga Madhav Stuti
and very holy "Madhav" name chanting is performed.
31. What is the Gayatri Mantra and what is its significance in Trisandhya?
Gayatri Mantra :-
Aum Bhur Bhuvah Swah,
Tat Savitur Varenyam,
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi,
Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat.
According to Vedas and Sanatan scriptures, Gayatri Mantra was composed by Gayatri Mata for the welfare of the world.
This describes the entire universe (Bhoolok, Bhuvarlok, Svarlok, Surya Lok, Chandra Lok, Pitru Lok, Patal Lok, etc. all the worlds).
By chanting this shlok, everyone, including humans, gods, sages, saints, ancestors, Yakshas, and Gandharvas get welfare.
32. What is the "Vishnu Shodasha Naam" and why should it be chanted?
The Vishnu Shodasha Nama comprises 16 names of Lord Mahavishnu who established Dharma in Chaturyuga.
This mantra is beneficial for the protection of human life from birth to death, from the bondage of the life cycle, and social, physical, and family disasters.
Vishnu Shodash Naam:-

33. What is "Dasavtara Strotra" ?
Lord Mahavishnu had saved Mother Earth by taking 24 incarnations in the four yugas.
Out of which 10 are the main incarnations of establishing righteousness which is praised in this strotra. Those humans who pray the verses of these ten incarnations daily through Trisandhya, all those humans are saved from worldly, physical, and family problems. And they attain the rare supreme position of human life, Moksha Gati(ultimate salvation).
Shri Dashavatar Stotra -
Translation:
Hindi translation:
O Lord of the Universe! Just as a boat (vessel) gladly rescues any object situated in water without any regret, similarly you, with pure character, without any effort, incarnated in the form of a fish in the deluge ocean and rescued the Vedas(scriptures) by holding them. O Lord of the Matsya(fish) incarnation! Victory to you. ॥1॥

O Lord of the Universe! O Hare! O Keshav! You have assumed the form of Narasimha. In your great hand is present a wonderful horn in the form of a nail, with which you have torn apart Hiranyakshipu's body like a bumblebee tear apart a flower. Victory to you. ॥4॥

Translation – O Jagadish! O Hare! O Keshinisudan! You have taken the form of Bhrigu (Parashuram) and destroyed the Kshatriya clan purified the world with their blood-filled water and removed the sorrows of the world. O Lord of the Bhrigu, victory to you. ॥6॥
Lord of the universe! O Hare! O Keshinisudan! Taking the form of Rama, you are distributing the crown-adorned heads of the beautiful and very charming Ravana to all directions, as a sacrifice to Indra and other gods. O Ramaswaroop (the one who worships the Lord of the world)! Victory to you. ॥7॥
O Lord of the world! O Keshinisudan! O Hare! You have taken the form of Baldev (the God of the world), having become very fair-skinned, and have worn blue clothes resembling the beauty of new clouds. Even Brahma and Shiva cannot describe the fate of the one who sees Madhava playing in the lap of Durga with his own two eyes.

O destroyer of misery! O mother of Abhiram(name of god)! It is my prayer that you take Madhava in your lap and arrive on this earth auspiciously.
35. What is the importance of chanting Madhav's name during Trisandhya?
108 Names of Lord Madhava (Kalki incarnation’s name) Bhajan
At present, Kaliyug is 5128 years old.
According to various Sanatan scriptures/texts and Bhavishya Malika Purana, it has been written that Lord Madhav will incarnate on earth in the form of Kalki.
That is why it is most important for all Sanatanis to worship the name of Lord 'Madhav'. Do Madhav name chanting
Just as in Treta Yug, all human beings, sages, saints, etc. were saved by the name of Lord 'Ram'.
In Dwapar Yug, everyone was saved by the name of Lord 'Krishna'.
In the same way, in this period of destruction of Kaliyug, the name 'Madhav' is the only support for salvation.
36. Why is it necessary to chant the name of God?
Īśo'haṃ sarvajagatāṃ nāmnāṃ viṣṇorhi jāpakaḥ।
Satyaṃ satyaṃ vadāmyeva harernānyā gatirnṛṇām॥
Lord Shankar says to Mother Parvati:-
Even though I am the Lord of the whole world, I chant the name of Lord Vishnu. I am telling you the truth, there is no other way for living beings except God.
Kaler doṣa-nidhe rājan, asti hy eko mahān guṇaḥ।
Kīrtanād eva kṛṣṇasya, mukta-saṅgaḥ paraṃ vrajet॥
Parikshit! Although Kaliyug is a treasure trove of faults, it has one great virtue. That virtue is that in Kaliyug, just by chanting the name of Lord Shri Krishna, all attachments are released and one attains God.
Kṛte yad dhyāyato viṣṇuṃ, tretāyāṃ yajato makhaiḥ।
Dvāpare paricaryāyāṃ, kalau tad dhari-kīrtanāt॥
The fruits that are obtained by meditating on God in Satya Yuga, by worshipping Him through big yagyas in Treta Yuga, and by worshipping Him according to the prescribed rituals in Dwapar Yuga can be obtained in Kali Yuga(present) by simply chanting the Lord's name(Madhav).
37. Who can know and attain God?
Sa veda dhātuḥ padavīṃ parasya
Durantavīryasya rathāṅgapāṇeḥ।
Yo'māyayā saṃtatayānuvṛttyā
Bhajeta tat-pāda-sarojagandham॥
The power and might of Bhagwan Chakrapani is infinite - there is no limit to them. Even though he is the creator of the whole world, the secret of his Leela beyond that can only be known by the one who always and continuously inhales the divine fragrance of his feet with a sincere heart - and keeps thinking about his feet with a spirit of service.
Śṛṇvataḥ śraddhayā nityaṃ, gṛṇataś ca svaceṣṭitam।
Kālena nātidīrgheṇa, bhagavān viśate hṛdi॥
The Lord appears in the hearts of those who regularly listen and narrate His divine acts with devotion within a short time.
38. Who cannot know God?
Na cāsya kaścin nipuṇena dhātur
Avaiti jantuḥ kumanīṣa ūtīḥ।
Nāmāni rūpāṇi manovacobhiḥ
Santanvato naṭa-caryām ivājñaḥ॥
Just as an ignorant person is unable to understand the miracles performed by a magician or an actor through his thoughts and words, similarly, a person with bad intellect is unable to recognize the various names and forms of God and his divine acts, revealed by his true thoughts and the words of the Vedas, through many logical arguments.
Tvayāhaṃ toṣitaḥ samyag vedagarbha sisṛkṣayā।
Ciraṃ bhṛtena tapasā dustoṣaḥ kūṭa-yoginām॥
Shri Bhagwan said- Brahmaji! The knowledge of all the Vedas is present in your heart. You have satisfied me well by performing penance for a long time with the desire to create the universe. Those who practice yoga with deceit in their minds can never please me.
Ātmātmajāpta-gṛha-vitta-janeṣu saktaiḥ
Duṣprāpaṇāya guṇa-saṅga-vivarjitāya।
Muktātmabhiḥ sva-hṛdaye paribhāvitāya
Jñānātmane bhagavate nama īśvarāya॥
Those who are attached to their body, children, teachers, home, property, and relatives, it is very difficult for them to attain you. Because you are free from attachment to qualities. The liberated souls constantly think of you in their hearts. I bow to that God who is full of all the divine knowledge.
39. Why does the end of Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga occur?
In Satyayug, man is not able to enjoy his full lifespan due to misuse of his spiritual powers and curses from his spiritual practices.
In Tretayug, man's lust and torturing of Brahmins and sages brings an end to his life.
In Dwaparyug, the age ends due to greed for money and excessive gambling, quarrels, lack of respect for women, etc.
In Kaliyug, man is not able to enjoy his full lifespan due to the killing of living beings and many other heinous sins.
